They catch five who were transporting 25 panelas of cocaine from Colombia

The Cicpc reported the capture of five individuals linked to Colombian drug trafficking and who at the moment were transporting 25 panelas of cocaine.

The operation was carried out in an area of ​​intricate vegetation next to the Machiques-Perijá highway, Machiques Colón municipality, Zulia’s border with Colombia.

The detainees were registered as José González Gutiérrez (33), Armando Jesús Vera Carbajalino (34), Miguel Velázquez García (29), Amilca de Jesús Morales Soto (29) and Jean Carlos Finol Rojas (31).

The subjects were traveling in a Ford F-350, year 1983, license plates 689SAW, where they carried two bags with 25 wrappers each of cocaine, which yielded a total weight of 58 kilos.

The shipment came from Colombia and would be taken to the coast of Falcón and then taken out of Venezuela, according to police investigations.
