Nicaraguan dictatorship presents Monsignor Rolando Álvarez and accuses him of two alleged crimes

Monsignor Álvarez was kidnapped on August 19 while he was in the episcopal curia of Matagalpa. At that time, he was taken to Managua where he allegedly remains held at the home of a relative.

The statement also reported that Father Uriel Vallejos is accused of the same cause as Monsignor Álvarez, and that “the judicial authority” sent an official letter to INTERPOL for his capture.
