The Patria Querida Party (PPQ) has on its list 8, a total of 350 pre-candidates and substitutes for the various elective positions that will fight in the internal elections this Sunday, December 18, for which the political association offers decent people who leave the world of work and that they will work in favor of the people, said the pre-candidate for the Vice Presidency of the Republic, Patricia Dos Santos. The statements of the political reference were released during a radio program.
This Sunday, the voters -a total of 4,800,000 qualified- will be able to choose the presidential duo, of the six that are in contention within the National Concertation, which will represent the opposition in the next national elections in April 2023. The rest are internal parties.
When these candidates are elected, they will not work for their own benefit or that of their relatives, because the voters will feel represented by their candidates whom they chose, remarked Dos Santos.
This Sunday, December 18, there are inmates throughout the country, and the PPQ asks voters, whether or not they are affiliated with any party, to deposit their votes of their choice, to recover decency and from there to be able to fight resolutely against abuses of corruption and impunity.
“We offer incorruptible, honorable people, it is not a fight of colors, people can continue to be colored and vote in the Concertación for the PPQ. It is a fight of bandits against decent people,” she mentioned.
He recalled that the party has a list of irrefutable people for the presidency, vice presidency, governorship, senators, deputies and departmental councillors, and that from its beginnings it aimed at the unblocked lists, since one of its first bills, through a popular initiative with 75 thousand signatures, was to allow people to choose the candidate of their choice and not just vote.
He said that the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA) has former legislator Carlos Portillo, who was already expelled from the Lower House for influence peddling, number one on its list of Deputies. Likewise, he added that the ANR has on its list former Senator Víctor Bogado, involved in acts of corruption, known as the “Golden Babysitters” case.
“I ask people to take advantage of the unblocked list and not vote for this class of politicians who are highly involved in acts of corruption. It is a good opportunity to show that you want to bet on change”, highlighted Dos Santos.
