The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) will receive bids for the construction and commissioning of two new toll stations.
The call for the Tender with ID No. 419,195- “Call MOPC No. 57/2022 National Public Tender for construction and commissioning of a toll station on the Carapeguá – Nueva Italia route and Paraguarí-Villarrica route section” is currently in force.
The delivery and opening date of offers is set for this Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 09:00 and 09:30, respectively. The act will take place on the Third Floor of the institution, located in Oliva corner Alberdi of our capital.
The referential amount of the call is G. 21.964.354.660 and the term of execution of the works of 120 days, as stated in the portal of the National Directorate of Public Contracts (DNCP).

It should be noted that the Carapeguá – Nueva Italia section has an extension of approximately 32 km and was inaugurated in 2017. It is a road that connects the departments of Paraguarí and Central, which serves as quick access to the capital of the country.
For his part, The Paraguarí – Villarrica section is 81.5 km long and was improved by means of the Highway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Contract by Service Levels, known as “CREMA”which consists of two phases: the first is its development and the second its maintenance for five years, currently in force.
With the two new stations, There will be 17 toll booths administered by the MOPC, which are currently located in Remanso, Caapucú, Iruña, Trinidad, Coronel Bogado, Tacuara, Horqueta, Emboscada, 25 de Diciembre, Pozo Colorado, Guajaivi, Ita, Río Verde, Ecovía and Major Autumn.
Added to this are the tolls managed by the SOE – Rutas del Este, which includes between the cities of Ypacaraí and Nueva Londres, which operate outsourced.
