Rear Admiral of the National Navy Otto Gossweiler He requested a voluntary retirement, Defense Minister Javier García reported Monday. Gossweiler denounced the Commander-in-Chief, Jorge Wilson, before García for labor harassment, reported The Observer.
The complaint states that in recent times Wilson sanctioned him four timesan amount that he considers disproportionate and unjustified, and that had never happened to him since until he was promoted to rear admiral his file only had one sanction when he was lieutenant commander and another as frigate captain.
This reiteration of sanctions in a short period of time constitutes “labour harassment”, Gossweiler understood.
From the commander’s entourage, they assure that the complaints are due to the interest in moving him to the head of the institutionwhile those close to the rear admiral said that it only pursues the objective of stop internal corruption.
From the Ministry of Defense they told The Observer that some of the complaints refer to long-standing issues that this administration is trying to correct through decrees, resolutions and modifications that are included in the rendering of accounts.
