Al Kass TV Qatari photojournalist Khalid al-Misslam has died suddenly while covering the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Times reported Monday, December 12.
This is the second death that has occurred in this World Cup, after the death of sports journalist Grant Wahl, who was covering his eighth World Cup.
“We believe in Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for him, and we send our deepest condolences to his family,” Al Kass told TV after al-Misslam’s loss.
