The Electoral Justice, with the latest preparations, is heading towards the final stretch for what will be “D” day, next December 18, when once again it will enforce the popular will, when it comes to electing our authorities.
With compliance with the terms of TSJE Resolution No. 108/2021, which establishes the Electoral Schedule for the 2023 National and Departmental Elections, The Ministers of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE), were present at the headquarters to verify the tasks that are carried out from different dependencies of the institution.
Minister Jaime Bestard stated that “the strength of the institution is the TREP (Transmission of Preliminary Electoral Results), and the technology that is Voting Machines. The success of the elections is based on these two axes,” he remarked.
In addition, he highlighted the logistical coordination work by each of the addresses and indicated that everything will go perfectly as usual in the electoral institution. Finally, he thanked all the officials for the effort they make and stated that the strength of the Electoral Justice is based on them.
On the other hand, the Minister Bogarín was “moved, impressed and admired by the work that we are all doing right now” and added that “we all have a single commitment, which is to carry out these elections well, we all have a single flag that is red, white and blue, we all want to build the Homeland and if the elections go well, continue to strengthen democracy and the State of Law of our country,” he said.

The tasks that were carried out on Saturday at the headquarters were the last TREP Drill, headed by the Director of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), Fausto Von Streber. The loading of the Voting Machines and electoral briefcases that will be destined for the interior of the country is in charge of the Director of Electoral Resources, Francisco Olmedo and the Director of Electoral Logistics Victorina Fretes with the accompaniment of the members of the Special Commission for the Implementation of Technology for the Voting and Scrutiny System.
Von Streber indicated that “this last TREP Simulation is very important for us, we are testing the transmission, the signals of the premises and the totalization of publications, previously we already had two simulations with optimal results.”
On the other hand, the Director of Electoral Resources, Francisco Olmedo, He pointed out that “we have already started loading the Voting Machines bound for Alto Paraguay and the electoral briefcases bound for Itapúa.” “This Wednesday would already be the great display by all the departments of the country, starting with Alto Paraná, Itapúa and Caaguazú,” he concluded.
