The ethnocacerista leader antauro humala gave a balcony in the San Martin Plaza to recognize Dina Boluarte as President of the Republic, but was booed and bottles and insults were thrown at her.
In a press conference, the retired Army major referred to the swearing in of Boluarte Zegarra as president after the vacancy of Pedro Castillo for carrying out a coup.
Humala Tasso reiterated that he will continue to carry out his national tour towards his candidacy. He insisted that he will go ahead with “the big march”which is calling for March 2023.
Subsequently, the leader of the ‘Andahuaylazo’ went out to hit a balcony in the square, but was not well received by those attending the march in favor of the closure of Congress, who threw various objects at him.
It should be noted that in various regions of the country protests and mobilizations have been taking place demanding the closure of Congress, the resignation of Dina Boluarte and the call for new elections.
Pedro Castillo was dismissed on December 7 by Congress for permanent moral incapacity and arrested shortly after by the policeafter the self-coup he gave in the morning of that same day when he announced the dissolution of the Legislative.
The now former president was transferred to the Barbadillo prison, where former president Alberto Fujimori is being held, who is serving a 25-year prison sentence.
The one who was vice president of Castillo, Dina Boluarte, assumed the head of state after being sworn in before Congress, thus becoming the first female president of Peru.
