Servio Tulio Castaños Guzmán, president of the Institutionality and Justice Foundation (FINJUS), stated that he was favour of the judges who have varied measures of coercion for being attached to the Criminal Procedure Code.
castanos guzman expressed “The decisions they have made have been attached to what is established in the Code”, as a result of the words of the assistant attorney Wilson Camacho, who questioned the decision of judge Yanibet Rivas of the cessation of pretrial detention for the defendants in the Coral case.

It is recalled that Camacho accused Rivas of applying “to benefit those indicted for corruption cases”, and that it is sought that “the Public ministry exercise their function irresponsibly.”
The lawyer pointed out that the measure of coercion is reviewable after twelve months. He said “What has been requested are enforcement measure reviews in cases that are more than 18 months old. I don’t see what the concern is.
