The president Dina Boluarte He calls for “unity and consensus” in his message to the Nation after swearing in his new ministerial cabinet, this Saturday, December 10, whose prime minister is Pedro Angulo.
“The consolidation of democracy, the rule of law, the balance of powers and governability in the country, is the essential line of my Government,” said the president at the beginning of her message.
“I make a fraternal call for calm, tranquility and social peace. Let’s avoid conflicts that put our brotherhood at risk as Peruvians,” he added.

In his speech, he also referred to the protests and strikes in the interior of the country that call for new elections: “(the demonstration) is accepted within the Constitution, respecting human rights and the integrity of the people.”
“I offer my open hand to meet fair claims and with the help of all social sectors and political forces we will once again have the stability that our country so much requires and demands,” he remarked.
“The Police are clear about these orders, as well as the legal and legitimate exercise of authority to maintain public order and social peace,” he said.
