The governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, stressed that he agrees with the dialogue carried out by the National Government with the different sectors of the opposition.
In an interview with VTV, Rodríguez indicated that in the country one should not speak of an opposition, but of oppositions and, at the same time, stressed that the economic blockade has harmed all of Venezuela, the economy and the people.
In this sense, he emphasized that the economic blockade and the sanctions imposed by the North American empire are illegal and, furthermore, affect national sovereignty.
Management
Regarding his management, Rodríguez explained that the greatest success he has had is in terms of security, since in the last four years, the rates have been reduced by more than 90% in kidnappings and homicides.
He also stated that the challenges for the end of 2023 as governor are focused on “optimizing and guaranteeing efficiency in public services, in order to provide greater social welfare and economy in the region.”
However, the highest authority of the state reiterated the responsibility of the region in guaranteeing peace.
He mentioned that among the great concerns of his management, is the educational quality in the entire Miranda region, since “Education is a tool to achieve the advancement of a sovereign country.”
Finally, he pointed out that the Mirandino entity is the state with the largest amount of cultural heritage in Venezuela and the development of the entrepreneurship policy. He also stated that they are making a great effort in agriculture.
