In total, 40 conferences by 16 Dominican and 14 foreign speakers set the scientific standard for the event that began yesterday and will end this Saturday.
The agenda includes two courses, round tables and the presentation of the post.
The international speakers come from Spain, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Argentina and the United States.
Discussion topics include laparoscopic pyeleloplasty, sexuality and erectile diffusion, precision therapy for BPH treatment, and coherent combination in BPH management, among others.
At the opening, Dr. Miguel Sánchez Caba, president of the Dominican Society of Urology, highlighted the scientific quality of the event.
He also highlighted the advances in urology and the quality of Dominican urologists.
On the opening night, Dr. Bolívar Rodríguez Rosario, clinical and academic urologist, was recognized for his contributions in the training of specialists and the development of urology in the country.
