Since last Wednesday hundreds of citizens began the exodus to the main tourist destinations in the country to enjoy the long weekendthe last of the year and the opening of the summer season.
According to official data, the average hotel occupancy for the long weekend in favorite destinations it reaches 80% and, to attract a greater number of visitors, in each of the regions there will be special programming during the holidays days.
Within this framework, there will be outdoor, sports and gastronomic activities, artistic, cultural and entertainment shows during the long weekend. In the City of Buenos Aires, for example, the “Gran Milonga Nacional” will be held on Avenida 9 de Julio.
In the province of Buenos Aires, the La Costa party will hold the 15th Festival of the Mar del Ajó Development Society; the program: “Full Moon Meditation”, at the Municipal Parador on Avenida Costanera de San Bernardo and the Ballet de La Costa, in Mar de Ajó.
In the Monte Hermoso spa, the Beer Festival will take place between Friday and Sunday, with food trucks and beer trucks, as well as free shows; while in the Sierras de la Ventana region, the summer season will officially start on Sunday.
In Bahía Blanca, for its part, the second edition of the Tango Puerto Festival will be offered, with free access. In Córdoba, the second edition of ‘La Aventura Solidaria’ will be held with activities such as Expo Rally, exhibitions of the Argentine Army, inflatables, raffles, among others.
In the Argentine North, in Jujuy they will celebrate the patronal festival in honor of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and, in the city of Santiago del Estero, the 18th edition of EncontrArte will take place.
Other events
In Puerto Madryn, this Weekend a new national date for Stand Up Paddle is planned, on the Golfo Nuevo; while, in Santa Cruz, the traditional Provincial Festival of the (penguin) Yellow Plume will be held.
In Entre Ríos, there will be free Kapanga and Turf shows on the local waterfront, within the framework of the Beer Fair and the International Tango Festival. San Juan will host the “TC Coronación” automobile race.
