The president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), Claudio Tapia, celebrated the qualification of the team to the semifinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, after eliminating the Netherlands on penalties (4-3) after a 2-2 draw in regulation time and overtime.
“Argentina is among the four best selected in the world, to the delight of the most soccer-loving country on the planet. The champion of America is standing up and going for everything,” the leader wrote on his Twitter account.
