The National Prosecutor’s Office collected this Friday, December 9, the testimonies of the former members of the last Ministerial Cabinet of Pedro Castillowithin the framework of the preliminary investigation for the alleged crime of rebellion and, alternatively, conspiracy.
Gustavo Bobbio Rosas, César Landa Arroyo, Félix Chero Medina, and Kelly Portalatino Ávalos attended the headquarters of the Public Ministry to testify as witnesses.
Likewise, former ministers Alejandro Salas Zegarra, Roberto Sánchez Palomino, Heydi Juárez, Richard Tineo Quispe and Silvana Robles Araujo were present.

It should be noted that the former president of the Council of Ministers did not attend to declare Betsy Chavezwhose summons was rescheduled for this Saturday 10.

Pedro Castillo was dismissed on Wednesday by Congress for permanent moral incapacity and arrested shortly after by the Police, after the self-coup he gave in the morning of that same day when he announced the dissolution of the Legislative.
The now former president was transferred to the Barbadillo prison, where former president Alberto Fujimori is being held, who is serving a 25-year prison sentence.
The one who was vice president of Castillo, Dina Boluarteassumed the head of state after being sworn in before Congress, thus becoming the first woman to hold this position in Peru.
