Through attention to citizen complaints, the Authority for Consumer Protection and Defense of Competition (Acodeco), carried out a verification of the Q&C Market establishment located in the public market of Aguadulce, and products without prices in sight were detected.
According to data registered by the entity, the lack of a sight price is the second of the most common anomalies incurred by suppliers of goods and services, and which is sanctioned.
Law 45 of October 31, 2007 on consumer protection and defense of competition, in its article 36, establishes as an obligation of the supplier to inform about the price, among other characteristics of a product or service offered.
If consumers who go to any commercial establishment do not see the price of the item or service they want to purchase, then they do not know the amount to pay, so it is a lack of transparency of the economic agent or merchant towards their customers.
It is important to file complaints for lack of sight prices to Acodeco, in order to carry out the pertinent verifications.
