The attempted femicide occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the San Luchas de Naranjito ranch, Ybyrarobana, Canindeyú department.

Gabriela Martinez Garay (30) he was shot in the head by his partner Pablino Urán Colonel (38)who thought his wife had died and later committed suicide.

The victim arrived at a care center with a diagnosis of Mild to moderate head injury from a gunshot. She was treated by the surgeons on duty, who stabilized her and later referred her to the Trauma Hospital, where she remains hospitalized.

The skull had an entrance hole, but not an exit hole, so the projectile was lodged in the head. The patient presents a delicate condition, according to the medical report.
