Universidad Católica celebra 40 años de fundación

The Santo Domingo Catholic University (UCSD)) celebrated the 40th anniversary of its foundation last night with a mass led by its rector, Monsignor Ramon Benito Angeleswho pondered the importance of education, innovation and entrepreneurship in comprehensive development.

“40 years is a reason to grow, but it is also a reason to create new hope, new friends, new functions, new friends, innovations, entrepreneurship and new ethical and moral commitments,” he said.

“We are living in a time in our country in which we need to make new hope emerge from the hearts of all Dominicans, because at some point it seems that the many regrets produce despair in many citizens,” said Monsignor Benito Angeles.

He urged the population to express and bear witness to the good “let us continue forward carrying out our mission and never be discouraged.”

He claimed that the time is not for complaints “The time today is to produce, serve, share, grow, look for new possibilities to solve.”
