It is not true that the government has created more than 49,000 jobs for leaders and activists of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), as the PLD senator Yván Lorenzo stated, because the governments of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) “appointed their people” and shielded the public payroll, said this morning the spokesman for the bloc of pro-government senators, Franklin Romero.
He said that “precisely the peledeistas are barbarians who left everything set up, put their employees in the administrative career and guaranteed that the administration that came after them could not name anyone.”
“We have had a lot of problems in the PRM so that they can be appointed in the Government, due to the maneuvers carried out by the peledeistas that guaranteed them to leave the Government and continue in the Government,” lamented Romero.
He stressed that one of the difficulties that the government of Luis Abinader has had has been that it has not been able to name the leaders of the ruling party due to the blockade that the peledeístas left on the payrolls of government institutions.

He argued that in the Dominican Republic there are currently high levels of unemployment, so the statements by the PLD spokesman in the Senate are out of place.

Regarding the fact that perremeistas are being appointed to work for Abinader’s re-election, he said that this is not necessary because that is guaranteed by the excellent government management carried out by the ruler.
“The President has his re-election secure because of the way it has been handled, where even the opposition itself has recognized it. International organizations have also given the go-ahead to the management of President Luis Abinader,” he said.
He added that “if there is a person who does not need to juggle to be president of the Republic again, it is Luis Abinader, his management demonstrates this, in the worst time, through the pandemic, the war, the hurricane, the president It has moved forward despite a budget that was already consumed and executed.
The perremeista leader opined that the great works carried out by Abinader throughout the country are the best reason for him to continue four more years at the helm of the Dominican State.
He assured that there is no corner of the country where the President of the Republic has not planted works of interest to the communities.
For the pro-government leader, Lorenzo’s complaint seeks to seek press and not because it responds to the reality of what is lived in the country.
“With all the respect that my friend Yván Lorenzo deserves, his complaint does not obey reality, because we have had problems naming the perremeistas because they shielded themselves in the public administration,” he said.

The official spokesman in the Upper House maintained that unemployment has no political banner, and the same affects the perremeistas as any of the followers of the other parties.
