The Ministry of Health detailed 4,027 new cases, of which 3,474 correspond to symptomatic people and 553 did not present symptoms.
The death of 54 people in the last 24 hours was detailed, thus reaching 62,659 since the start of the pandemic. On the other hand, positivity reached 13.70% nationwide.
As for the active cases, these reached 9,160 people and the PCR tests amounted to 25,397 in the last 24 hours, thus reaching a total amount of 47,246,252.
Meanwhile, there are 132 people hospitalized for Covid-19 in Intensive Care Units. Of these, 93 are supported by mechanical ventilation. Along the same lines, the hospital capacity has 1,830 critical beds enabled and 267 critical beds available. Information from yesterday Wednesday.
Positivity in the Metropolitan Region reached 13.82%, while the regions with the greatest increase in new confirmed cases in the last seven days are O’Higgins, Los Lagos, Antofagasta and Arica and Parinacota.
