In yesterday’s morning conference at the National Palace, in which the head of the Ministry of the Interior (SG), Adán Augusto López Hernández, participated, he was asked if he would participate in the debate on which, this week, they have manifested in the media, the head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum; the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard, and Senator Ricardo Monreal.

It was President López Obrador who responded instead of his official: You say yes, right?
whereupon, with a smile, López Hernández pointed out: You are right
.
Meanwhile, when asked about the date on which the applicants must leave office, the head of the federal Executive proposed that it be in December, before the elections, after López Hernández explained that according to the law they must separate at least six months before.
Moments later, in a brief interview at the end of the press conference, the head of the SG was asked when he proposes that the debate take place. “Why me, if they are the ones who are proposing… whenever they want,” he replied, at the same time that he conditioned his participation to not being in violation of the law.
