The Soccer World Cup is an event that fans want to attend but many times due to lack of financial resources, time or distance, for some it is a difficult dream to fulfill.

This year, the orbital event takes place in Qatar, a Middle Eastern country where so far more than 6 million tourists and visitors from different parts of the world have come to support their favorite team or team.

One of those many fans of this sport who gathered in the country that organizes the event that brings together 32 teams with all their stars, is the renowned Colombian ‘influencer’ Mauricio Gómez, better known by the nickname of ‘The Nit’.

The man from Quindío, through his Instagram stories, revealed how much he spent on his trip and stay in Qatar for a period of 15 days, time he used to visit different places and to attend five games: three from Portugal and two from Argentina.

«I lasted a total of 15 in Qatar, in the city of Doha, I left and came first class, I was in three games for Portugal and two for Messi, that is, a total of five, all that cost me a total of 20 thousand dollars”, said the content generator that has more than 7 million followers on Instagram.

It should be noted that the tickets for the First Phase matches are cheaper than they are as the tournament progresses. In other words, for the Round of 16, Quarterfinals and Semifinals keys, the price increases due to the law of supply and demand. And not to mention the final, a game that few people can attend due to the cost of the tickets.

In order to travel, ‘La Liendra’ had to change 100 million Colombian pesos into dollars.

Finally, the young Colombian highlighted that for him Qatar is not an expensive country, but that the high price of the dollar made his stay more expensive during the days he was enjoying the World Cup, which is currently in the phase of Round of 16.

“A Qatari real is equivalent to 1,300 pesos,” he compared the foreign currency with the local one.
