a group of neighbors reached the outskirts of the condominium where Governor Luis Fernando Camacho lives, to set up a vigil as a show of support for the different processes that were activated against the authority and for an alleged detention in order to be transferred to La Paz.

Departmental assembly members of Creemos such as Keila García, María René Álvarez and Erick Morón also came to the home. García stated that the concentration took place because there is a plan, presumably from the Government, to arrest the governor of Santa Cruz during this week.

“We know that this oppressive government is seeking to silence all the people who think differently,” said the assemblywoman.

With shouts of support and messages of unity, the neighbors arrived with chairs in hand. and they prepared an awning for the night.

During the afternoon, the governor’s lawyer, Martín Camacho, stated that there is a “sinister plan” by police intelligence groups to arrest the first departmental authority and move it to La Paz as an apprehended.

“It has been possible to verify that a group is operating, even with an intelligence service (…), that they were planning an extraction strategy to take the governor to La Paz as an apprehended,” the jurist asserted.

Then Governor Luis Fernando Camacho came out to make it clear that He is not afraid of being arrested and taken to the seat of GovernmentIn addition, he anticipated that the Government will seek all means to be apprehended.

With a megaphone in hand, the governor of Santa Cruz thanked the support of the people who came to his home and maintained that the cost is high “when the principles are not negotiated.”

We come to fight and stand up for Santa Cruz and this type of action will neither silence nor frighten us. Here I will stay with my people until we continue to win battles and we continue to win the final battle,” he indicated.
