A Guárico state police officer died during a confrontation with members of the criminal organization Tren del Llano, an event that occurred this Tuesday in the Los Tanques sector, Altagracia de Orituco, Guárico.
After that fact, reinforcements from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Cicpc arrived at the site, who began a search for the criminals.
In Altagracia de Orituco, the Tren del Llano was born, originally known as the Malony gang, alluding to the nickname of its founder, Gilberto Malony Hernández, killed in November 2021 in San Juan de Unare (Sucre).
In another procedure, at the Citizen Service Point located in the town of Chaguaramas (Guárico), the military detained David José Escalona and seized 20 9mm cartridges from him.
The subject was verified in the Integrated Police Information System (Siipol) and revealed that he was requested from the 4th Control Court of San Carlos, Cojedes state, according to file No. 82984-10 dated 07-03-2010, for the crime of kidnapping, the source said.
