Segundo Meléndez, president of the MAS, said that the conditioning of elections with the relief of sanctions by Maduro is proof that there have been no free elections in the country. He also described the management of the dialogue by the Executive when meeting with various opposition groups as “irresponsible”; some in Mexico and others in Miraflores
The national president of the Movement for Socialism (PLUS), Segundo Meléndez, condemned that President Nicolás Maduro have conditioned having free elections in Venezuela with the relief of sanctions, which in his opinion is a “confession” because it is admitted that the elections in the country have been far from that goal.
Meléndez denounced that this expression used by Maduro may have the purpose of “discouraging electoral participation and trying to make Venezuelans forget and not participate in elections, thereby guaranteeing continuity in power.”
Similarly, the president of the MAS warned that the management of the dialogue in Mexico by the Executive has been “truly irresponsible” for meeting with an opposition sector in the North American country and with other factions in Venezuela. In his opinion, this double position leaves citizens mocked because those in power would be playing to talk to each other.
He explained that the administration of Nicolás Maduro meets in Mexico with a group that it recognizes as a representative of Copei and then meets in Caracas with another group that it also recognizes as a representative of Copei, “the same thing it does with Acción Democrática, recognizing a group in Mexico and another in Venezuela, a truly irresponsible situation as it is a typical attitude of cuckolds.”

From the MAS, Meléndez called on the authorities that, if they want to carry out a responsible dialogue, they must do so with the country’s political and social organizations so that there are real contributions to the problems, which is why they think of the orange awning “That what there is is a mockery and a manipulation.”
The leader of that party congratulated the university professors, although he regretted that the salary is not enough for them to be able to sustain themselves.
“These professionals carry out one of the most important tasks that exist in the country, which is the training of youth, the dedication to the work of study, research and teaching, but today there is nothing to celebrate despite the fact that the president of the Republic has just said that Venezuelans are a happy people. There could not be greater cheekiness, it is an act of cynicism to express oneself in that way, ”he concluded.
