Maricruz Ribera used social networks to support her husband, the former mayor of La Paz Luis Revilla, who has an arrest warrant for the case of alleged overpricing in the purchase of PumaKatari buses. “Let divine justice be done, I love you,” she wrote.

On Monday, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of Luis Revilla to present his informative statement, which has motivated the criticism of the opponents.

“May God always protect you, my love, and may divine justice be done, I love you Luis Revilla,” said Ribera.

After leaving the Mayor’s Office of La Paz, his family moved to Santa Cruz, where Revilla’s wife is from.

On Monday night, Revilla reported that he was in poor health and reported that he had requested to reschedule the appointment, but the Prosecutor’s Office rejected that request.

“I voluntarily presented myself twice in the last ten days and they did not take my statement. Now I am in poor health and I have explained it to the prosecutors, who have denied postponing today’s statement, I even asked IDIF Scz to assess me . Everything was denied,” he wrote on Twitter.

The complaint was promoted by the former leader of the Federation of Neighborhood Boards (Fejuve) Jesús Vera.
