The discussion for the minimum wage in 2022 has been a topic that has given rise to talk for some months, since there has been speculation about the possible figure that Colombians would earn Next year.
However, in recent days it has been learned that the figure could be ready on December 15, but Negotiations could take place until the end of the month.

It should be remembered that, in order to increase the minimum wage, one must take into account not only the productivity figure, but also the the inflation that until the month of October stands at 12.2% and that it has been the highest in the country in the last 20 years.
Thus, Portfolio asserts that, if this percentage is set as the main figure for the negotiation between businessmen, the workers’ union and the Government, the figure that will increase would be $134,000, which could end up at $1,134,000.
However, not all workers are in favor of the increase, given that the latest figures from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) about 43.1% (about 9.43 million) of people earn less than one minimum wage.
Also, close to 3.42 million Colombians earn a minimum wage, which would be close to 15.7%.
