Ualá starts with payroll loans for up to 20,000 pesos

The rest of the users will be able to access this benefit gradually.

“The request can be made from the Ualá ABC application and a loan may be authorized for up to 20,000 pesos in three minutes and it is expected that later the maximum amount may be higher. The loan can be paid in terms of between 12 and 36 months,” the company detailed in a statement.

The loans do not have a commission for opening, maintenance, collection or improper clarification. The requirements are an official identification, the RFC and the residence format, in case of being a foreigner living in Mexico.

Ualá stressed that it is committed to the growth of the financial ecosystem, by expanding the offer of services in the country, after it was announced in recent days that the firm laid off 3% of its global workforce.
