In that order, José -Pepe- Vila del Castillo, executive commissioner for Police Reform, in his opening speech at the inaugural activity last Friday, said that “the police must be 24/7 in their place of preventive surveillance, we expect a police more active that puts its efforts to provide security. They must know their neighbors, exchange their phone numbers with the community members of the sectors where they are stationed on duty,” Vila emphasized.
