The Paraguayan singer-songwriter Sari Carri presents her EP “Are you going to arrive?, in which it can be appreciated by the public on digital platforms.
The Paraguayan artist recently unveiled her material that includes five songs composed at different stages of her life.
“A lot of things happened to be able to release this EP, good moments, difficult moments, normal things in the process. But mainly, the most beautiful thing that happened to me was having found people with whom I could capture my music, I formed very nice friendships, I found the aesthetic I was looking for thanks to the people I met during this time “Carri mentioned about it.
For the also guitarist and composer, the process was fundamental since it was introspective for her: “I also found myself, I found who I am and where I want to go and I feel very grateful for this.”
Following the line of various influences such as Natalia LafourcadeThe Marias, Men i trust, Kali UchisSolange Knowless, Erykah Badu, SZA, Raveena, among others, Sari explored with various rhythms and sounds, resulting in various proposals with bedroom, bolero/pop R&B, Neo Soul, chill pop and more.
In this way, the public can now enjoy “Moon kisses”, “Sheets”, “What are you looking for? ft. Mati”, “Coco” and “We talk”included within his EP.
“We developed the name and the whole concept around the album with my friend and creative director Enma Lezcano, together we worked on what this material represents for me and for my career. After several processes we chose the name “Are you going to get there?” that denotes the path and the search for identity, the questions we ask ourselves during the evolution of our processes”.
“The questioning that surrounds us when we are not sure if we will be able to meet expectations, or if we are ‘enough’ for ourselves”, the artist also maintains.
