Through his Twitter account, the Minister of Information, Freddy Ñáñez, indicated that 62 cases of covid-19 were detected, highlighting that 27 were imported, all of them entering from the Maiquetía International Airport.
62 new cases of covid-19 were detected on Friday, December 2 in the country. In this sense, of the total number of cases, 39 are from the Community and 27 are imported.
The community cases are located in: Caracas 13, Zulia 9, Bolívar 7, Miranda 4, Yaracuy 2, Carabobo 2, Sucre 1 and La Guaira 1. The information was published on the Twitter account of the Minister of Communication and Information Freddy Ñañez.

In this sense, he explained that Caracas presented the highest number of infections in nine of its 22 parishes: El Recreo three, La Vega two, San Juan two, 23 de Enero one, Caricuao one, La Pastora one, San Agustín one, San José one and Santa Rosalía one.
Of the 27 imported cases, Ñañez reported that five cases come from the Dominican Republic, 12 from Panama, four from Turkey, three from the Dominican Republic and three from Cuba, all entering through the Maiquetía international airport in La Guaira.

To date, Venezuela has registered 741 asymptomatic patients, 208 with mild acute respiratory failure, 86 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 52 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The death of an 84-year-old man was reported in Bolívar state, reaching a total of 5,829 deaths throughout the national territory. Venezuela has a total of 547,697 confirmed cases, 1,087 active cases and 540,781 people recovered, which represents 99% of the infections.
