Gunpowder merchants from the department of Madriz state that fireworks report a slight increase in their price because the containers of products brought from China are in Panama and possibly next week they will have more assortments at their stalls.
Although the products are more expensive, these merchants are applying various strategies to attract their customers. One of them is that when buying wholesale they give a discount so that the resident is happy with their purchase and maintain their clientele.
“The rocket is the one that is more expensive than last year, we are creating offers so that the customer can take the product because it is useless for us to pay dearly and not sell anything,” said Santos Calderón, who has a section in the city of Palacagüina, from the department of Madriz.

For this season the owners of establishments of gunpowder generate temporary jobs for citizens so that they have a second income and thus bring food to their homes.
