Two Nicaraguans died of poisoning in the United States

Two families from Jinotega have launched an SOS for citizens to support them financially to repatriate the bodies of two relatives who died in the United States.

One of them is identified as Luis Alberto Centeno Rodríguez, originally from the Planes de Vilan community, in the municipality of Santa María de Pantasma; and Deyvin Villagra, originally from El Cuá Bocay.

Centeno Rodríguez had emigrated to the United States four months ago in search of new economic opportunities. His wife, Rosa Amelia Rayo, and his little daughter, trust that they will be able to say their last goodbye in his native land.

“Let them both come home”

Óscar Centeno, Luis Alberto’s brother, said that currently “they are also promoting a campaign to repatriate Deyvin Villagra, since they worked together and must return to their homeland.”

Brother of Luis Centeno, one of the Nicaraguans who died intoxicated in the US.

On November 25, both Nicaraguans lost their lives in their workplaces due to carbon monoxide inhalation, although it was initially reported that it had been in an apartment. “They were just looking for life, like thousands there,” said Centeno.
