This Saturday, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Plaza Uruguaya will be the setting for the Metal Fair Fest, which will feature the performance of 11 bands that will make lovers of this musical genre vibrate. The event is free and open access.
After the impossibility of taking place for two years due to the pandemic, the organization brings to 11 the number of bands on the powerful lineup for this edition, in a wide diversity of styles ranging from heavy and thrash to death and black metal. .
The festival in its sixth edition will be held in the Plaza Uruguaya, site 25 de Mayo and Antequera, which will once again be the scene of the Metal Feria Fest as it has been doing between 2015 and 2019, with an audience made up of more than 2,000 people in its latest edition.
With the motto “Rock and metal for everyone”, Metal Fest 6 seeks to contribute to the revitalization of the capital’s microcenter, offering an attractive and innovative option for citizens, while commemorating the great daytime rock and metal festivals that were held in the center of Asunción in the decade of the ’90.
The day will begin at 10:00 on Saturday, December 3 with the traditional record and t-shirt fair, to then give way to the poster made up of René Ayala and the Acoustic Ensemble bells (experimental rock), Vehemence (thrash metal), recharge (hardcore punk) cherubs (heavy metal), Sadistic Art (death metal), Licántropo (death metal, Concepción), Cancerous Social Thoughts (grindcore), Noctis Avem (black metal), yearning (Atmospheric Black/Doom Metal, Coronel Oviedo), 220 volts (heavy rock) and Friday the 13th (heavy metal). The show is freely accessible and promises an unforgettable day for lovers of this musical genre and the general public.
Metal Feria Fest is organized by Sapukái Producciones, iCreative and the self-managed venture Metal Feria. The host bands since the first edition are Sadistic Art and 220 Voltios.
