The Panama Women’s National Team trained today at the “Cascarita” Tapia stadium together with the Kickers Academy, as part of their preparation for the World Cup playoffs, which will take place in February 2023.
In this World Cup playoff, the last three places for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia New Zealand 2023 will be awarded.
It is worth mentioning that Panama was located in Group C and will face Papua New Guinea on February 19 at the North Harbor Stadium. In case of winning that game, Panama will play a second game against the winner of Chinese Taipei vs. Paraguay, which must win that second game to qualify for the World Cup.
The team will resume practice next Monday.
