THE SICT, SEMAR and AICM reported that the General Directorate of the AICM, through the Directorate
of Legal Affairs, secured a building known as Interjet corporate located
on the south platform and a counter area of Terminal 1, which were occupied
by the company ABC Aerolíneas, SA de CV (INTERJET), in order to recover them.
“The foregoing in the exercise of the legal powers available to the administration of the
AICM and because it is a property of federal property that cannot be seized, therefore, in
procedure carried out before a notary public, possession of said properties was taken on
which remained under the protection of personnel of the Secretary of the Navy of
Mexico, without causing any inconvenience or disturbance to users,” the authorities said.
The agencies stated that “the properties mentioned are free of encumbrances and without affectation, according to the information provided by the Ministry of Labor.”
According to the statement, the actions taken were carried out without carrying out any action that would disturb the users of the Airport, based on the National Security Law, the General Law of National Assets, the Airport Law and regulations of the airport itself.
