Coach Tite said, in a press conference held this Friday (2), after Brazil lost 1-0 to Cameroon, that the “World Cup doesn’t give you a second chance”. According to the commander of the Brazilian team, the players have to recover quickly from the setback, as the team from Canarinho will be back on the field next Monday (5), when they will face South Korea in the round of 16 starting at 4 pm (Brasilia time).
“You have to feel it when you lose, because it’s part of life. However, football and competition give you, even after winning two games, a second chance. But we have to stay awake until tomorrow afternoon, when we start preparing”, declared the Brazil coach.
According to Tite, the merit of the victory belongs entirely to the African team, which triumphed at the Estádio de Lusail thanks to a goal by striker Aboubakar: “Cameroon had the merit of scoring the goal and winning the game. We all lose, because our preparation is joint, the victory is joint and the defeat is joint”.
