Dollar: how to deal with shopping and travel at the end of the year

To make purchases in dollars or not at the end of the year? That is the question… December has arrived and Colombians are preparing (if they are not already doing so) to purchase Christmas products and services: gifts, food, trips, among others. And many of them are charged in dollars.

Taking into account historical prices that the currency is registering, between 4,500 and 5,000, how should purchases and trips be dealt with at the end of the year?

In this episode of economicast, We spoke with the expert Henry Amorocho Moreno, a professor at the Universidad del Rosario who gave some ‘tips’ for spending with foreign currency, in addition to explaining how this situation could help Colombia.
