The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations (SAC) will meet next Monday to analyze the final report on the complaints filed against Vice President Dina Boluarte, in the case of the signatures representing Club Apurímac. According to the document, which was accessed by La República, the delegated legislator for the Edgard Reymundo case recommends sending the complaints to the archive.
“It is recommended that constitutional complaint 268 be filed (…), as well as constitutional complaint 269,” reads the 79-page document that will be put to the vote on Monday of next week.
There are five conclusions developed by Edgard Reymundo in his final report. In relation to Club Apurímac, he maintains that “the registration acts and (the) application for an operating license that he signed, did not imply, at all, management acts (…), but acts of formalization of decisions adopted by this legal person; that have not generated a concrete affectation to a constitutional legal right”.

Regarding the complaint against Boluarte regarding the alleged omission of information in the sworn declaration of interests, Edgard Reymundo concludes in the report that the Comptroller’s Office “has not established a real conflict of interest in the exercise of the functions of the accused, in his position of Minister of Development and Social Inclusion”.
Likewise, it specifies that the facts denounced on this point “are not subsumed to the criminal offense of omission, refusal or delay of functional acts, contained in article 377 of the Penal Code.
Reniec case
Another fact that gave rise to a constitutional complaint against Dina Boluarte was the employment relationship she had with the National Registry of Identity and Civil Status (Reniec).
In this regard, legislator Reymundo concludes that article 126 of the Constitution has not been infringed, “since it has been shown that he did not perform double duty in the public administration, nor did he receive double remuneration after assuming the position of vice president of the republic and minister of state”.
The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations (SAC), chaired by Lady Camones (APP), will meet this Monday at 8:00 am and the agenda includes the final report on the Dina Boluarte case. Although Edgard Reymundo proposes filing the complaints, everything will depend on how the 25 members of this working group vote.
The majority of congressmen that make up the subcommittee are from the opposition; therefore, one option could also be that they reject this archiving proposal.
