The Ministry of Health will issue a resolution with a recommendation to return the mandatory use of masks in open and closed spaces where there are crowds.

This was stated by the Minister of Health, Carolina Corcho, in a press conference in which he also announced the arrival of vaccines against Monkeypox in Colombia.
“The Ministry of Health convened a technical council to request some recommendations that will be issued soon by way of resolution with a circular to the territorial entities. Within these recommendations we propose the mandatory use of face masks for people over two years of age in open and closed spaces where there are agglomerations”said Minister Corcho.

This measure It would be implemented in nursing homes, health centers and in people who have not been vaccinated or who have comorbidities.
