The Gigantes del Cibao stopped the push of the Leones del Escogido, while the Águilas lost to the Estrellas but advanced to the semifinal series, while the Tigres del Licey beat the Toros 1-0 in 11 innings.
Despite the defeat of the Águilas, they qualified for the semifinal series after the loss of the Toros del Este against the Tigres del Licey.
Rainer Núñez led the All-Star victory by hitting a home run in the ninth inning to break a 1-1 tie against reliever Richard Rodríguez (1-1).
