AN approved Draft Agreement in support of the dialogue

The National Assembly unanimously approved this Thursday in the first discussion, the Draft Agreement in support and ratification of the second Partial Agreement signed between the national government and the Venezuelan opposition in Mexico.

From the Federal Legislative Palace of Caracas, the deputy to the AN, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, spoke on this issue and pointed out that dialogue in Mexicois a victory for President Nicolás Maduro.

Likewise, Maduro Guerra presented the Draft Agreement in support and ratification of the second Partial Agreement for the social protection of the people. This is in reference to the agreement signed between the Venezuelan government and the Unitary Platform.

“The Dialogue is a victory for President Nicolás Maduro. We are going to continue fighting so that they stop attacking our people and continue to consolidate their rights. Long live Peace!», He said.

“We did it again, we put that opposition that once sabotaged and tried to set the country on fire, and assassinate fundamental leaders of the Bolivarian revolution, on the democratic path. This dialogue is an achievement of President Nicolás Maduro, following the example of Commander Hugo Chávez”, said the deputy and representative of the Dialogue Commission, Nicolás Maduro Guerra.

Opposition appreciated the dialogue

For his part, deputy Luis Parra of the First Venezuela political Movement recalled that the opposition sector sitting at the Dialogue Table in Mexico called for sanctions and a blockade, an opposition that blackmails and called for the destruction of the country’s economy. He adding in this regard that he does not feel represented by that political sector.

As for the II Partial Agreement signed in Mexico, he expressed: we appreciate what came out of it as the result, because that is the fund that moves us to promote a representative dialogue in the country, which has to do with other sectors of society that have legitimacy of origin and representation.

“There is good news for the country, this country has to keep fighting so that this money can be repatriated. He added that as Venezuelans they will always defend the homeland that belongs to everyone,” he said.

“Today we tell Venezuela that you cannot try to overthrow a government at the cost of the suffering of the people,” he said.

Recognition

Finally, the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, expressed his pride in the participation of Venezuelan youth at the dialogue table, represented by legislators Nicolás Maduro Guerra and Génesis Garvett.

Rodríguez, ordered the massive dissemination of the agreement approved in the Protocol Chamber.

On November 26, the national government and an opposition group grouped in the self-styled Unitary Platform signed the Second Partial Agreement for the Protection of the Venezuelan People in Mexico.

This plan contemplates managing the release of the Republic’s funds for more than 3,000 million dollars frozen abroad and creating a Fund for the Social Protection of the People, with the support of the United Nations (UN).

This fund will be used for electrical projects, food, health, education and assistance to those affected by the rains.
