This Wednesday, November 30, ASSE marked a historic milestone and a substantive milestone by signing an agreement with the Uruguayan Society of Pediatric Surgery and the Surgical Anesthetic Union. It allows the start-up, starting tomorrow (for today), of Pediatric Surgery Centers in the Hospitals of Paysandú and Minas, respectively.
The President of ASSE, Leonardo Cipriani, stressed that both centers will have a regional character, with the same technical excellence as the Pereira Rossell Hospital in Montevideo.
For his part, the General Manager of ASSE, Eduardo Henderson, highlighted the work and goodwill of all parties involved, to ensure the completion of these two regional centers that will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Meanwhile, Carlos Kierszembaun, President of the Uruguayan Society of Pediatric Surgery, stressed that the creation of these centers means a change in the care paradigm and a substantial improvement in the quality of care for pediatric ASSE users, who will be able to operate in centers that are more close to their homes.
He pointed out that the agreement is a turning point, and highlighted the level of excellence in pediatric care at Pereira Rossell, which has been advancing in the performance of increasingly complex surgeries.
The President of the Surgical Anesthetic Society, Daniel Montagno, emphasized the historical vision that has been taken to make this agreement effective and affirmed that ASSE is setting an example of how to reach the Interior. ASSE
