The Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) arrested three men in Monagas who were transporting 32 concealed panels of marijuana.
The information was supplied by the Head of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that the detainees are linked to the group Armed Terrorists Drug Traffickers from Colombia (Tancol).
“In the state of Monagas, 3 individuals were arrested who were secretly transporting 32 panelas of marijuana. Three more useful idiots at the service of the TANCOL organizations that will have to face justice for accomplices in drug trafficking!” Hernández Lárez published on the social network Twitter.
FANB remains deployed in the country
On the other hand, he reported that the FANB, on the other hand, remains deployed in the Catatumbo Lightning operation in the Zulia state“dismantling camps of criminal groups associated with drug trafficking and fuel smuggling and making clandestine tracks useless.”
Similarly, the Ceofanb Commander reported that military operations are active in Apure, with patrol and reconnaissance missions in defense of national sovereignty, in the Vuelvan Caras operation, he cited.
Actions against mining and drug trafficking
Domingo Hernández Lárez also reported that the FANB continues to execute the Security and Defense plans for the destruction of illegal mining structures in forest areas protected by the State for the preservation of the environment.
