New loan requested by the Executive Power is approved

The Senate of the Republic approved this Wednesday a new contract for loan for 60 million dollars which aims to strengthen the agricultural sector with a technological and sustainable approach called a support and financing plan for small and medium-sized producers through the Ministry of Agriculture.

The piece received 19 yeses and 8 noes from the 27 congressmen present.

The loan with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) has already been endorsed by the Chamber of Deputies.

Sánchez considered that the PRM has abandoned the field.

“They have taken more than 21 billion dollars in what they have been managing,” the representative of Pedernales told the government.

On his side, Ginnette Bournigal, senator of the Modern Revolutionary Party for Puerto Plata, defended the loan and promised to follow up on the investment made with these resources.

Similarly, the Perreme senator for Sánchez Ramírez, Ricardo de los Santos, considered that before the opponents defended the loans, but now they repudiate them.
