Anali Diaz Infante Vazquez will be the new president of the Board of Directors of the MX Internet Association (AIMX), after Philippe Boulanger resigned from directing the association that brings together many of the technology companies that operate in Mexico, last September.
Díaz Infante was elected to direct the board of directors of the association between January 1 and December 31, 2023. During her acceptance speech, the founder of the audiovisual content production agency for social networks Diggitalera advocated for “a internet association new, alive and transparent”.
We must continue to build on the authority that the Association has, as a reference framework for the industry,” he said.
Diaz Infante succeeds Philippe Boulangerwho led the association between January 2021 and September 1, 2022. Boulanger argued, in a letter, the lack of formalities to ratify his appointment and the lack of governance within the association as the main causes for resigning from the presidency from the tech lobby.
Before the resignation of Boulanger, the general director of the MX Internet AssociationJulio César Vega, assured that the organization would take the corresponding actions to give continuity to its board of directors.
The MX Internet Association integrates the main players in the industry Internet in Mexico, such as Accenture, Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Didi, Ebay, Google, Mercado Libre, Meta, Rappi, Twitter, Uber and Zoom, among many others, and serves as a data generation and timely analysis group for the sector. It also offers a digital badge for those formally established websites called the Trust Seal.
The new president of the AIMX He said that his management will be one in which “the voices of small and medium-sized companies will be exalted”, in addition to continuing to be “that voice that represents the different sectors of the industry before the authorities.
