Attack on the Vice President: Milman's secretaries are summoned again as witnesses

The federal court once again summoned as witnesses the two collaborators of the national deputy of Together for Change Gerardo Milman who accompanied him on August 30 at the Casablanca confectionery when, according to a witness in the case, he would have made references to the attack against the vice president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner that would occur two days later, judicial sources reported.

The call, for Thursday morning, was arranged by the federal prosecutor Carlos Rívolowho has been in charge of the investigation since last week by decision of Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, who delegated the investigation amid strong criticism of the complaint.

Milman’s collaborators are Carolina Gómez Mónaco and Ivana Bohdziewiczwho already declared in the file: the contradictions in their testimonies in relation to their respective presences at the Casablanca confectionery and the topic of conversation, they motivated the lawsuit to demand that their cell phones be seized.

It was the refusal to carry out this test measure -the seizure of cell phones- that generated the strongest criticism from the lawyers for the complaint, José Manuel Ubeira and Marcos Aldazabal, towards the work of Judge Capuchetti, to the point that They demanded his departure from the cause.

The lawyers of the complaint arrived with the claim of the kidnapping of the cell phones to the Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires, which last Friday issued a resolution in which it indicated that it was an appropriate measure but that other measures had to be carried out before, which had to do with statements testimonials.

“It is unheard of to have to explain why it is important to have the only evidence that could have corroborated extremely serious testimony about an attack that could have changed the history of our country,” the lawyers for the lawsuit remarked at the time when claiming the kidnapping of cell phones to search there for any mention or indication that could allow us to corroborate or rule out the track.

“The rest of the testimony (of the witness) was corroborated with what was declared by Bohdziewicz and Gómez Mónaco and the evidence produced by the PSA (Airport Security Police). If what your honor expected is that the two witnesses would admit to having heard that their chief said (“when they kill her I’m on my way to the coast”), the only way to find out the truth of what happened on September 1 seems to be through some unexpected confession,” they explained.

The Milman track began on September 23 at 5:00 p.m., when Jorge Abello, advisor to the Frente de Todos in the Chamber of Deputies, appeared in the federal courts of Comodoro Py and assured Judge Capuchetti that he had heard Milman refer to an eventual attack before it happened.

Abello assured that on August 30, 48 hours before the failed attack took place, he heard Milman tell two collaborators the following sentence, between laughs: “When they kill her, I’ll be on my way to the coast.”

The investigation of that track allowed us to confirm that Abello, Milman and their two collaborators coincided in the Casablanca confectionery, located a few meters from the Congress, on the day indicated by the witness; although until now there was no one else who had heard that phrase from the Juntos por el Cambio deputy.

On Monday there was another testimonial in relation to this clue that was reported by Télam: National deputy Marcos Cleri (Frente de Todos) exhibited the message he received from an adviser who told him that he had heard Milman refer to the failed attack before what happened The most relevant data has to do with the time of that message, since he received it moments after the news of the assassination attempt broke.

“Marcos, yesterday when I left your office I went with my brother-in-law to eat in Casablanca. Next to me was Milmann (sic) with two girls and he funnyly said when they kill her I’m on my way to the coast. And they laughed to death,” said the first of four consecutive messages that Jorge Abello (adviser to the Chamber of Deputies) sent Cleri via WhatsApp on September 1 from 10:36 p.m., judicial sources reported.

“Believe me, I’m shaking,” said the fourth message that Cleri received from Abello less than two hours after the news broke that a 35-year-old man (Fernando André Sabag Montiel) had tried to kill the vice president at the door of the building. in which he lived in Recoleta, before the eyes of the protesters who had come to express their support and the television cameras that recorded the moment.

According to what this agency was able to reconstruct, Cleri explained that on September 7 they were forwarded to two of his colleagues from the Chamber of Deputies and to the “legal team” of the Vice President (who was not a complainant in the case at the time), at the same time that He waited for the sender of the messages (Abello) himself to appear in court and then do it himself.
