“The next Binational Cabinet, my esteemed President Boric, corresponds to do it in Peru and in that we must see how we support the bases. Hopefully it will be done in the north, in my region; much better if it is done in Chota”, Castillo Terrones asserted from the neighboring country.
“I await you in Peru, dear President Boric. Long live Chile and long live Peru!he added in his speech from the Palacio de la Moneda in Santiago de Chile.
The Peruvian president also thanked the Chilean government for welcoming him and insisted on the need to follow up on the agreements reached at this bilateral meeting.

There are towns without water, without electricity and without roads. There are thousands of Chilean and Peruvian compatriots who lack a roof and many things, and that is what we are looking at“, he pointed.
In addition, on the same day, both heads of state participated in the postmark presentation ceremony commemorating 200 years of diplomatic relations between Peru and Chile.
President Castillo’s visit began with the placement of a floral offering before the monument of the liberator Bernardo O’Higgins. During his trip, the presidential office was in charge of Dina Boluarte, vice president.
