This afternoon, Richardson, opened the Women’s Health Fair in the so-called “Mission Comfort Dominican Republic 2022.”
It is estimated that during the ten days that they will have medical activity in the country, some 7,000 patients will be operated on, where around 100 surgeries will also be performed and will impact 35,000 Dominicans.
Laura Richardson is a four-star general from the United States. She is currently the highest-ranking woman in the armed forces of that country and since October 2021 she has been commander of the United States Southern Command, a US military unit that coordinates the military and security actions of that country on the American continent.
The Southern Command also coordinates counternarcotics actions, joint military exercises, and humanitarian efforts by the United States military forces in the hemisphere.
