Lucrecio Cabrera, a prosecutor investigating the murder of Waldino Aguayo Rojas, a member of the Joint Task Force (FTC), indicated that from the outset he realized that the military partner was a man, despite posing as woman and even presented under the name of Naomi Martínez, with a false ID, when her real identity is Víctor Veloso.
Also from the beginning, he ruled out the possibility that two thieves could so silently injure a soldier in such a sensitive and deadly area, despite his physical and technical preparation for defense.

“He murdered him in bed, while the soldier was asleep, if it was for robbery purposes, he is a very prepared person, he would have defended himself, this happened very early, but only at 3 in the morning did the alleged couple notify the family of what happened, after having made the knife disappear,” said prosecutor Cabrera in an interview with 1080 AM.
Regarding the motive for the crime, Cabrera considers that it could be a homicide of passion, since they had been in a relationship for eight months and the soldier had not even received his salary for the month, enough to suspect that they had wanted to take the money from him.
“Veilous and dressed as a woman, what he simulated was just the pregnancy. Some time ago they introduced him to the family and since the soldier’s mother was very strict, so he simulated the pregnancy at the request of the soldier, ”said the prosecutor.

He explained that even the sergeant’s mother was very happy because she was soon going to become a grandmother as she longed for.
Veloso is already charged with intentional homicide and after falling into contradictions, he finally chose to say off the record that he acted in legitimate defense.
